Leah's started taking steps. She's not fully walking yet, but she'll take a step or two. I happened to get her longest jaunt so far on video a few days ago.
One of Leah's favorite new words is "boh" usually accompanied with a long face (as you can see). It's hard to get on video, but here are a few examples of it.
After Leah's baptism, Uncle J led an evening of singing Vacation Bible School songs which Molly really enjoyed. Here's a small taste of the fun.
Leah was baptized Sunday, and we captured it for all of you to share that couldn't join us (and thanks to all who did make it).
Some of Aunt Caroline's friends came over on the 4th of July and played this fun game with Molly. Molly thought it was lots of fun, and didn't want to stop.
You can spend a lot of money on toys, but often the simplest things can be the most fun for kids. Leah got a kick out of the packing materials from this box.
Here's a sampling of one of Molly's soccer practices. 5 kids were there, but Molly and Elijah were the only two who played the whole time, which is why there are fewer kids in most of the shots.
Molly's continued to enjoy playing with bubbles. Here she is with Caroline and Will blowing, popping, clapping, stomping, and ducking bubbles.
Molly has really gotten into playing with my iPad. A few of her favorites are The Cat in the Hat, Word Magic, Draw, iWriteWords, Virtuoso Piano, and Pages. I'm amazed at how well a 3 year old can pick up a touch interface (as compared to, say, a keyboard/mouse interface). This video is of her typing away in Pages. The first time I showed it to her, she wanted to change the colors of the letters. So, I went through the menus and changed the colors. The next time, she did it all by herself (as you can see here).
