This Christmas, Molly loved opening our nativity advent calendar. She was very excited to open the last box to find baby Jesus.
That evening, Leah had fun playing with Belkie, who still works after years and years in the family.
Our tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve continued this year. Molly wanted to open up her new Legos right away to start playing with them.
I made my first Buttercup bag in August. So, with one under my belt, I took on making three more.
One for my mom's birthday at the end of November...
One for my sister-in-law...
(You might look at this picture and say, "That looks like the same picture she posted in August," and you'd be right, but I promise I did make the same purse again!)
And lastly, a bright and bold one for my youngest sister-in-law...
Bracelets are a big hit in our house. Molly has even been known to wear her ponytail holders on her wrists as bracelets! So, when I saw these felt bracelets, I knew I just had to make some for my girls and my niece, Emmie.
Since making these bean bags for Craft Hope, I've intended to make some for our house. I finally made a rainbow of bean bags for Leah. Hopefully, the bright colors will inspire her to love learning numbers!
I made another coffee cozy for a friend. She was so excited to be "sipping in style!"
I'm always on the lookout for gifts for the "have everything" type. So, when I saw these reusable travel lids, I thought they'd be perfect for the great-grandparents. The lids can be used to cover salad bowls or 8x8 pans, perfect for that next pot-luck!
Molly loves her preschool and her teachers. So as part of the class gift baskets, I contributed these monogrammed clipboards.
Some of you may have noticed that I have not been posting many craft projects lately. Well, that's because I had to save the surprises for Christmas! So, now that the day has come, I offer you my "Twelve Days of Christmas {crafts}."
Last year I made my Mother-in-law a set of appliqued kitchen towels. She later hinted that it would be great to have a Christmas set. So at Thanksgiving this year, I gave these to her as an early Christmas present.
