Leah rolled over for the first time a few weeks ago. She actually went from back to front, which is usually the second way kids go. Ever since, we've been trying to get it on video, but Leah has not been cooperating. This video shows some of the trials in rolling over (and getting it on video). Note that all of this video was shot after she had started rolling over.

We had a very merry Christmas here and wanted to share a bit of it with all of you. Molly was especially excited about everything this year and had a blast. As a warning, this is not in the typical style of short and fun, but is rather more like a typical home movie. It's almost 16 minutes long, so it may take a while to load if you don't have a very fast Internet connection.

In case you didn't hear, much of the east coast was covered in snow this weekend. It was the biggest December snow storm ever for the Baltimore area. We went out and played during the snow for a little bit, as you can see here. There's only about 9 inches down so far when this was shot (Baltimore officially ended up with 21 inches according to the news).

Leah has become a lot more vocal and happy.

We finally got ourselves a Christmas tree after our adventures in potty training calmed down a little. Molly enjoyed helping out decorating it.

While we were in Tennessee with Jen's family, Uncle J built us a campfire (Molly's first). A good time was had by all, and the marshmallows were very tasty.

Molly decided to sing the ABCs this morning. Of course, she sings them with her usual level of energy, making them very entertaining.

Molly is really getting the hang of being a big sister. She likes to bring Leah toys, cover her in a "blanket," read stories to her, rock her, and many other things that aren't in this video as well.

We had a great visit with Uncle J, Aunt 'Chelle, and Cousin Emmie. Molly had a lot of fun playing with Emmie, and of course had to tell Emmie what to do. Here Molly thinks Emmie is making too much noise at lunch, and makes sure she knows it.

Leah is a great sleeper, and can sleep through about anything. Even when you're trying to wake her up (say, by dancing), she still sleeps right through it.
