Here's a bit of Christmas morning this year. I'm not sure why Molly was confused when she came out as to whether she was allowed to go over to her stocking or not. Silly girl. My favorite part is definitely Leah at the very end.
This was our first Christmas Eve service without Molly by our side. This was because she and the rest of her Cherub Choir were very involved in the service. This video is of the song they sang towards the beginning, Mary Had a Baby. Note that Molly appears to be the only one doing the hand motions they were taught. Later in there service they briefly appeared again as reindeer and then appeared as angels singing Gloria toward the end.
Here's Molly dancing in the Nutcracker for the first time. I highly recommend watching it in HD (by clicking Switch to HD above), as she's a small person on a big stage that is hard to see in SD. Also, note that this is 10 minutes long, so it'll take a while to download on a slow Internet connection.
While at the aquarium, Molly started talking to the fish. Then Emmie joined in.
It's the Sunday before Thanksgiving and that means it's time for some more singing from Molly and the Cherub Choir (with me accompanying on guitar again).
On Friday, Molly's preschool class had their Halloween party at school. Included was a show for us parents with some lovely singing. Here's a taste of what we got. Please excuse the audio, as it was outside and airplanes were, as usual, flying overhead.
Despite having a mostly warm Fall so far, we were greeted by snow falling yesterday. Yes, snow in October - crazy. The ground was way to warm for it to stick at all, but it was coming down pretty good for a little bit. Very wet snow so it was falling fast. Here's a short clip of it from our front door.
Now that Molly's four, she's old enough to join the Cherub Choir at church (consisting of preschool, kindergarten, and first grade kids). Today was her first performance, and I even got to join in accompanying them on guitar. There's quite a few kids, so I recommend watching in HD to see them a bit better.
We thought this might go on forever, but she eventually fell asleep ;)
Leah didn't want to be left out of the singing, so she joined in the fun.
