We've spent the past two days celebrating Molly's 2nd birthday! First we had a Blue's Clues party on Sunday. I decided to make her cake this year. It turned out cute, but I give credit to cake decorators - it's not as easy as I thought!

Along with themed snacks and "puppy ear" party hats, there was a Blue's playhouse,

presents,

cake and ice cream,

and lots of dancing!

Then today we celebrated just the three of us. We had pizza, cake, ice cream, and opened a few more gifts. Of course, Molly had to play with her newest toys before bed.

Molly spent basically the entire morning in the car and opened her presents from there. She very much enjoyed her other presents, as long as she could stay in the car.

Molly had many times more refined sugar in her birthday cake than she'd ever had before, so she had a huge sugar rush. Consequently, she had a lot of energy to burn.

Jen's cousins gave us a dance demonstration. You have to watch the video for the full effect, but I'm glad they have other talents. If you know any of Chris's friends, please pass this along to them ;-)
