June 2008

Molly took her first big fall off the couch and into the coffee table. This is what it looked like a few hours after it happened.

The next morning her shiner was starting to really show and swell. Note the cut on the right side of her face from the impact. Our coffee table has no sharp corners. That cut is strictly from hitting the coffee table so hard.

By that evening, she had a true shiner.

The next morning, she decided to take a nose dive into the bricks by our stove and scraped above her lip. She needed to compliment her black eye.

We held our annual field day. Of course, the eternal flame of competition burns on.

We had the baby tent for all those a bit too young to compete.

Activities included many favorites, including dizzy-bat basketball (an event I have lots of trouble with).

Of course, tug-o-war is a crowd favorite.

We also had a water balloon launching/catching competition. Seth is very talented, but I think this balloon broke.
