August 2008

Help, I'm stuck in a toy box (ok, she's actually not stuck at all).

We flew to Memphis to hang out with G'Mom, Grampa, Aunt 'Chelle, and Uncle J. Molly thought she'd get her own seat, but she was wrong. Instead, she mostly sat in her dad's lap, and showed how much she liked that by crying the whole time and throwing up during our descent. We thought it might have been the heat or something she ate, but it turned out she was just sick.

Molly is expecting a cousin soon, and Jen has been working hard to make sure the new little one has clothes. These appliqued onesies are the first items in the latest line from Little One Originals.

G'Mom and Grampa were prepared for a visit from Molly with plenty of toys. Molly of course found the blocks very quickly.

They also borrowed a slide from their neighbor, which Molly had a bunch of fun on (as long as the video camera wasn't pointed at her, that is. Point the camera at her and sliding stopped).

Molly loved reading books with her Grampa.

Aunt 'Chelle was quick to give Molly an early morning hug, which Molly definitely needed after the first night there. Molly's sickness kept her up most of the night with a fairly high fever.

Molly was not a happy camper for most of the day since she wasn't feeling well. Uncle J figured out how to keep her spirits up, though Molly got a little frustrated when he couldn't keep up when she was playing Beethoven's Sonata Number 3 in C Major.

Got milk?

This dress was made by G'Mom for Jen a long, long, long time ago.
