June 2007

Not only was this Molly's baptism day, but it was also Father's Day. We celebrated with Jen's family before church. Here's Bob with a vaguely familiar picture...

Then it was off to church for the baptism. Molly seems happy to be there in this pic.

And here she is with Mommy.

And here's Pastor John starting it off. You can even watch the whole thing on video, though as a warning it is 8 minutes long.

Well, she was happy for a good little while, but I guess it couldn't last. She wasn't so fond of the cold water on her head.

In honor of Molly's baptism, Grampa and G'Mom played the handbells.

Here are all the family members that came to the baptism. It's everyone from our house plus Aunt EA (Chad's sister) and Margaret (Chad's 1st cousin's wife's sister). We also had plenty of friends there to witness this, but there was no picture of the heckling gallery.

We then went back to Grams and Pop's house for lunch with all the family, though it was more like a feast with that much good food.

After Jen's family hopped on the plane to head home, we headed back to Grams and Pop's to celebrate Father's Day with that side of the family. We certainly do have a lot of fathers.

The day after everyone left, our friend Rachel came in town for work and dropped by for a visit with us (well, probably Molly in reality).
