December 2007

Christmas Eve we were in Maryland, which means we got to go to Christmas Eve service at Glen Mar. We had to go to the 3:00 service, to make sure we could eat and get Molly to bed at her normal time. After the service, we headed over to Grams and Pop's for dinner and opening presents. Molly was more interested in these bells and Aunt Caroline than the presents at this point.

Grams helped Molly open her Christmas Eve presents from Grammy.

As you may recall, Jen cross-stitched very intricate stockings for each of us over the last 3 years. After some help with assembly from Grams, here they are, hung by the chimney with care.

Here's are tree decorated and loaded with presents, ready for Christmas morning.

We woke up and did stockings and presents on Christmas morning at our own house. Naturally, Molly made out like a bandit since she's at the top of the "Nice" list. Want to see more of Molly getting her first stocking from Santa? Check out this video.

Molly got lots of toys, and has really enjoyed playing with them, as evidenced by this video.

Here's the 3 of us Christmas morning.

We then headed over to Grams and Pop's to open presents with them and eat Christmas dinner. The presents were overflowing throughout the room.

Molly got a very nice Elmo phone from her Great Grandaddy Elmo.

This present looks good.
