August 2007

Molly is quite mobile despite only having rolling as her means of movement. We also think she is starting teething, as she chews on everything. One of her more common tricks is to roll across the room to the swing and chew on it. If you don't believe us that she's started teething, you should check out this video.

Not only does she like to chew on the swing, but she likes to swing in it and play with its toys as well. She frequently falls asleep holding the toys, as seen in this picture and this video.

Molly took her first plane trip down to Alabama to see family. Here she is ready to go. She seems to be excited about it.

Molly enjoyed much of the trip, and got a nice nap. She did really well, and only got fussy during the descent (pressure on the ears - I can't blame her).

We got to Alabama and spent the first night and Jeremy and Michelle's. Molly may have been in a new place, but she was still having fun.

We of course brought some of her toys, so she's happy.

While Molly met both of her living paternal great grandparents when they came up to see her in Maryland, she had not met either of her maternal great grandparents yet. Here she is meeting Great Grandma Jane. Check out this video to see Molly meeting he maternal great grandmothers for the first time.

Molly likes visiting people.

We then headed out to the lake house.

Molly then met the last of her living great grandparents. Here she is meeting Great Grandma Dot. Dot seemed to really enjoy playing with Molly over the weekend.

Here's Molly with G'Mom on the dock. It was very nice out there.

We had a slim crowd the first day, so we relaxed a good bit. Here's Molly, Dot, and Michelle relaxing on the swing outside. That's the end of August, but not the end of the trip. So check out the rest of the trip in September.
