Well, with Chuck in town now, we had some help to finally do a little landscaping at our house.
We put in some new pavers to have a nicer, bigger walk to the front door.
We had to take out a lot of ugly bushes to make room for the new bed in front.
Here's what it looked like at the end of the first weekend of work.
And here's a closer view. We've got new pavers, creeping thyme, daylilies, roses, hydrangeas, vincas, liriope.
For Easter, we celebrated with the Sellers and Caroline's friend from Slidell.
The second weekend of landscaping involved tearing out the rest of the bushes and planting a bunch more stuff. Here's Jen planting azaleas and a rhododendron.
We also put another bed full of hostas in the front around the little tree.
And here's the final view of the yard. We'll never be done, but I think this looks pretty good.
