As many of you know, Chad's parents and sister live in Slidell, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans that was hit very hard by hurricane Katrina. Pictures and information about this are available on this page.
We got to visit Jen's family at their lake house for Labor Day weekend. Michelle, Michelle, Maddie, and Ben look to be enjoying the boat ride.
As do Susan and Dot.
Maddie is almost too tall to do this now.

We left the lake to go to the Auburn vs. Georgia Tech game.
At the game, we got to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a long time.
Unfortunately for Auburn, the game didn't go very well.
Back at the lake, the kids got to try out the rope swing near by.
Ted and Jeannie stopped by to make sure everyone knew who won the game.
Of course, the annual Batson fishing tournament was very competitive.
And everyone did very well.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our friend Jen. We hope you have fun in the desert.
