Picnic - Hurley 2004
On Thursday, we got to go to a picnic with some of the people from Hurley. We're obviously enjoying ourselves.
Jeff took many pictures (many of which didn't make it onto the site). He even managed to get a shot of himself.
I'm not sure if Becca is interested in what Jeff's saying, or just in the middle of chewing.
Chris and Lauren make a cute couple, don't they? Just don't tell Lauren's boyfriend ;-)
Pat looks sad after injuring his arm. Fortunately, Pat never stays sad for long.
I couldn't get these older youth to stop smiling so I could take a serious picture. Oh, well.
Brandon was much easier to get along with without a pressure washer in his hands.
Chad's crew wrote a song to thank everyone who helped us. "We went to Hurley, and this is what we saw - a bunch of groovy people, came to help us all."
The people of Hurley (led by our pal Barret) showed us what bluegrass music was all about.
Of course, some of us had to join them.
