We had our first snowfall last night (December 19th). It wasn't much (less than an inch), but it created some excitement. Not enough to get out of work, though.

We celebrated our Christmas a few days early, before we flew out to Birmingham.

Jen shows off her loot.

As does Chad.

The Batson Family Quartet rings again! This time, they made their debut at Mountain Brook Community Church (Michelle's church).

We had Christmas eve dinner at Ted and Jeannie's. Ted and Jeannie show off their new scarves.

We exchanged gifts with them that night. Jen seems to like her new hummingbird feeder.

Bob and Susan show off their new Auburn paraphernalia.

I couldn't come up with a caption for this, but it's a good picture of Jen and Michelle. So, here they are.

We all slept late Christmas morning, but eventually went down to open presents. Before we could even get started, Jeremy was already playing with this slinky snowman. Boing boing boing!

Bob and Susan show off their new monogrammed sheets.

Michelle and Jeremy are excited about their new mixing bowls and milkshake maker.

After a long morning of opening gifts, we're all happy.

After we ate and cleaned up, we headed to Dot's to open gifts with her. She looks like she likes the breadcloth Jen cross-stitched for her.

Here's Dot with her girls.

Jeremy found a good use for the bows that came off the presents. I think he could bring bowties back in style.

We saw Jane on Christmas day and Boxing Day. She looks good in her new scarf.

While in Birmingham, we celebrated Bob's birthday early. He loves his presents, and his girls.
