Beth, Chuck, E.A., and Caroline (Chad's family) came to visit and see our new house. We didn't do the best job of taking pictures, but we did visit the Naval Academy and got a guided tour by an Alum (Chuck), including all the ways to sneak off campus without getting caught.
We went down to D.C. for the "Taste of D.C." It's similar to Jazz Fest with food and musicians. It was held on Pennsylvania Ave., right near the Washington Monument.
We also made sure George was doing ok while we were down there.
Our main reason for going was to see Josh Kelley in concert. Click here to see a short video clip of the concert.
Since it was our first Halloween in our new house, we decided to carve pumpkins.
Here are the finished products. Please excuse the lack of lighting, as we were trying to show the glow of the candles.
Christyna, Brandon, and Macey came to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat. Macey dressed as Cinderella.
Little did we know, Macey is also a musician. Here she plays the guitar while singing her "Ten Little Indians" song.
